Barclays Premier League: ALL transfers (recap)

This has already been one of the most interesting transfer windows in the top flight league in English football and we haven’t even reached its end yet. There has been a lot of transfer activity this summer, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool among the big spenders. So who got whom? Who made the right moves? All this and much more detailed below as we look back at ALL the transfers to have taken place this summer by ALL the clubs in the premier league (as of 13th August, 2011).

 

Arsenal FC

Chelsea have been linked with numerous players. Chelsea desperately need an attacking midfielder. Their new coach Andre Villas-Boas said earlier today that they will buy a midfielder and a winger before the end of transfer window. They have been linked with Luka Modric, Joao Moutinho and Michel Bastos. They are on the verge of competing the signing Romelu Lukaku as well.

Everton FC:

Due to their financial problems Everton have fallen back. They need a good experienced striker. They have been linked with a move for Peter Crouch. They might just trade Jack Rodwell with him. The injury prone midfielder. Spurs have also been looking for a Defensive midfielder.

Manchester City have a lot of spending power. They have been looking for a good winger. They were linked with Alexis Sanchez who moved to Barcelona. They might sell out Emmanuel Adebayor to either Real Madrid or Tottenham Hotspur as he is training currently with the reserves. They have been linked with numerous players. They might sign another 3-4 players before the end of transfer window.

Manchester United FC:

After the departure of Andy Carrol to Liverpool for 35mn Newcastle United havn’t been able to find a replacement. They have been linked with even Didier Drogba to replace him. We expect them to buy a new fresh striker before end of this summer’s transfer window.
