Ideas for a great presentation

Great presentations are not everyone’s cup of tea but with these little ideas you can make your presentation much better than you would expect.

1.Always include photos from your camera it is much better than taking images from google. It shows you have put in effort. You need not be a photographer. You just need basic photography skills.

2.Make your presentation be colorful and presentable. Do not try to make it beautiful, try and make it professional.Do not keep it white and black. It looks very dull and the audience might lose interest.

3.Keep your points clear cut and short.Rest of the matter has to be explained by you.

4.Always keep in mind the time limit for the presentation. Do not exceed it under any circumstances. It is important to rehearse your presentation and make sure you are able to convey your content in the limited amount of time.

5.Go through the not so important parts in your presentation quickly and take enough time for the important parts in case of time limits during presentation.Never compromise on time when important parts are concerned.

6.You personality matter a lot. Be well groomed and well dressed.Speak clear english and dont go too fast or too slow.Keep a steady pace all throughout your presentation.

7.Your content should be realistic and good research has to be made when it comes to content. A single error in the facts and content can make the audience lose confidence in what you say.

8.Content is the king but your product is of no use unless you do not know how to market it.Take care of the smallest presentation error possible.

9.Don’t try to make your presentation big.Try to make it a big idea.

10.Speak with confidence and look into the eyes of the judges.

I hope your presentation goes well and these ideas help you out.

BREAKING: Manchester United Veteran Gary Neville announces retirement with immediate effect

Veteran English right back, Gary Neville has announced his retirement from professional football with immediate effect. He will retire from football after 20 years playing at Manchester United.

Gary signed for United in July 1991 and was part of the famous Class of ’92 that won the FA Youth Cup in 1992. He then became a first-team regular alongside his teammates from that side, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, his brother Philip and David Beckham.

In his time at Old Trafford, Gary has played 602 games, scoring seven goals.  He has won the Champions League, eight Premier League trophies, three FA Cups, two League Cups, the Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.  He became United club captain in 2005.

Gary won 85 caps for England between 1995 and 2007, playing in two World Cups (1998 and 2006) and three European Championships (1996, 2000 and 2004).

Neville, who turns 36 this month, made the decision after much consideration. He said:

“I have been a Manchester United fan all my life and fulfilled every dream I’ve ever had. Obviously I am disappointed that my playing days are at an end, however it comes to us all, and it’s knowing when that time is and for me that time is now. I have played in the most incredible football teams, playing with some of the best players in the world as well as against them and I have been lucky to have been part of the team’s achievements and the club’s great success.

“There are so many people I want to thank and, of course, top of that list is Sir Alex. He has given me so many opportunities and countless support over the last 20 years – he is truly one of the greatest managers – and I have to thank him for that.

“There have also been so many great players that I have had the privilege to train and play alongside. The experiences we’ve shared will be with me for the rest of my life. Also, I’d like to thank all the coaches I have played under from youth level right through to now, who have guided me through my playing days. And finally, the fans, who have always shown me unbelievable support. They know how special they are to me and this club.

“I am looking forward to new experiences and the club will always be a part of my life going forward. However, the most important thing now is for the club to continue with the success that is synonymous with Manchester United and I will be supporting them all the way, as a fan.”

Meanwhile, Sir Alex Ferguson said:

“Gary was the best English right back of his generation.  He is an example to any young professional; hard-working, loyal and intelligent. As a United fan born and bred, his fantastic career at Old Trafford has cemented his place in the affection of the club’s supporters everywhere.

“His impact on the club in general has been huge; his presence in the dressing room and leadership qualities have been an asset to me as a manager. All the young players who have sought his advice on many matters, particularly on contract issues owe him a great debt.

“As a young boy he had the will and determination to succeed as a footballer and that character remained with him throughout his career. That’s the legacy he leaves every young player at Manchester United.”

Reds chief executive David Gill said:

“Gary has been a great servant to the club and we thank him for his loyalty and his contribution to the tremendous success we have enjoyed in his playing time here. I know from my many dealings with him over the years that he’s always had the club’s best interests at heart. So, while this illustrious chapter in his career has finished, his experience, commitment and energy will ensure he will continue to play a part in the life of the club, whether on the coaching or the commercial side.”

Our best wishes are with Gary – a true servant of Manchester United!

Manchester United complete the signing of Danish international goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard

Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Aalesunds FK to sign Danish international goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard on a 3½ year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Personal terms have been agreed with the player, who passed a medical in Manchester. Anders will train with United during December, but will be ineligible to play until the transfer window opens in January 2011.

Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Anders is one of the brightest young keepers in the game.  The challenge at Manchester United is always to look to the future and in Anders, we have signed a goalkeeper of great presence and even more promise.  Having the time to train with him before he is registered will be an important period for him – almost like a pre season to get him integrated with the other players.”

Anders Lindegaard said: “Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me.  The Club is such an institution in Denmark, it’s an honour to come here.  I’m looking forward to playing and training alongside some of the great players in football today.  I can’t wait to be part of this team and to make my contribution to keeping the team at the top of the game.”

Another iPad competitor, This Time by RIM

As the rumors suggest we will soon see a RIM pad in the market. It would be great to see what this new Tablet has got to enhance the tablet market. Surely it will run an OS similar to that of an Blackberry but seeing very less success of the Blackberry in recent times it would be great to see if RIM come out with a new and altogether different OS for the RIM pad that is expected to launch next week.(rumor)

Also it will be great to see what kinds of models are launched by RIM. According to Firstain guessing there will be only a 3G+wifi model and no only Wifi model. The simple reason for stating this is that RIM over the years has gained 95% of its market share due to the Blackberry Messenger and I am sure this trend will continue in the RIM pads also. And but obvious that for the BBM one needs a 3G connection.
