iPad 3 and its screen resolution – breakthrough

Will the iPad 3 sport a 3D display?

According to CNET, there are some sources who have informed them that manufacturers are finding it very difficult to create the high resolution 2048×1536 resolution display in large quantities that Apple requires. Though they will start production in November it is quite unsure whether they will be able to make enough to cater to Apple’s needs.

If the manufacturers are unable to make the required number of displays then they will make a 1,600×1,200 resolution display.

Detailed information on this is currently unavailable but we will try to get it very soon.

Until then hope that the manufacturers can make enough display so that we can have an iPad 3 with a better resolution (264 PPI [pixel per inch] — twice than the 132 PPI on the iPad 2).

Amazon: “From Kindle, the Fire is born” …

The voiceover quotes French writer François-Marie Arouet Voltaire.

The instruction we find in books is like fire. We fetch it from our neighbors, kindle it at home, communicate it to others, and it becomes property of all.

The new Kindle Fire tablet costs $199 and ships November 15. Visit amazon.com/kindlefire for more details.

BMW’s sumptuous electric 5-series sedan in the works for China, no candy for others

Good news for all the BMW fans in China: As part of the company’s partnership with Brilliance China Automotive, BMW Brilliance Automotive is planning to create a pure EV 5-series – a sedan that is destined exclusively for China. Apart from this, the company is yet to reveal any more details but Engadget claims they know the motive behind BMW’s China launch:

EVs are becoming more and more popular there as China struggles to shrug off a massive foreign oil dependency and BMW saw a similarly massive 87 percent jump in growth of its sales in China in 2010. So, there’s your motive, but we’ll still have to wait a bit for the rest of the details.
