Apple Inc., today, reached a new milestone when it was revealed that more than half of all U.S. households own at least one gadget made by the fruit-flavored company. That means, according to CNBC’s polling information, some 55 million American homes own an iOS device or a Mac computer — yielding an average of 1.6 Apple devices per house.
CNBC’s post went on to detail a few other facts that will not surprise you: Apple customers tend to be educated and younger. Also, the more money you make, the more likely you are to own Apple products.
Apple Inc. – the world’s best tech company and manufacturer of game-changing products like the iPod, iPhone and most recently the iPad – owes everything to the genius mind of CEO Steve Jobs. The man, voted by Forbes (and many others) as the world’s best (and most admirable) CEO on more than one occasion will now be seen promoting his biography come the end of the year.
Titled ‘iSteve: The Book of Jobs‘, this Authorized Biography of Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson, will be published by Simon and Shuster early next year.
The Jobs book will be his fourth major biography. In addition to Kissinger: A Biography(1992) he has written Benjamin Franklin: An American Life (2003) and Einstein: His Life and Universe (2007). His most recent book is American Sketches: Great Leaders, Creative Thinkers, and Heroes of a Hurricane (2009).
This biography of Jobs was announced in February of last year, but it is only now that it has got a title and a release date. 2012 – we are waiting!
