Apple has begun airing a new TV commercial centering its iCloud cloud storage service, showing how easy it is to enable iCloud and sync your stuff between Macs, PCs, iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches. The ad sees not a single word spoken, yet everything beautifully explained, including different iCloud services such as Photo Stream, Automatic Downloads for songs, iBooks, apps, and wireless calendar syncing. Apple has released a new iPad 2 commercial titled Love which has now gone on air. In the ad, Apple demonstrates how the device is used by people in their day-to-day activities, such as editing videos through iMovie, mixing and editing music, designing, etc. In short, the holidays are coming and Apple wants to prove to you why buying the iPad 2 will be a wise call, fending off competition from cheaper alternatives like Amazon’s Nook and Fire, and the various Android tablets out there. Love.
Forgot their rivalry? Verizon wants to remind you that the bitterness between them and AT&T is still there with a nicely executed iPhone 4S advertisement, mocking AT&T and its iCoverage with the help of a sinking boat.
Oh my, that sinking feeling!
The first Apple iPhone 4S TV commercial has gone on air. The advert concentrates on Siri, the 4S’ intelligent personal assistant, giving a few real-world uses of the feature. Some Siri examples from the commercial:

- Checking the weather
- Location-based reminders
- Playing music from the iPhone music application
- Setting up alarm clocks
- Sending text messages
Verizon have gone one step ahead of Apple and released their own iPad 2 commercial, showing off their fast 3G network. The TV commercial shows the iPad 2’s ability to quickly connect to Verizon’s 3G network by giving examples of the Twitter app and Apple’s iBooks. Check them out in the video below:
Apple has released a new TV commercial for iPad 2 titled “Learn” which focuses on Apple’s long-time cause of iPad for education. This, we suspect, is the first of many commercials to come out of Apple in the next few days/weeks. They never release one solo advert and sit back. If there’s one, there are always more to follow 😉
Steve Jobs made a debut at the Oscars. And no surprises his first ever visit is at a time when the iPad sales are to start this coming Friday.
Here are a few pictures of Steve Jobs at the Red Carpet.
Apart from Jobs’ appearance, the first ever official iPad advertisement also made it’s debut. It was aired at 8:53pm EST. Here’s a video.
