We just can't help ourselves but talk about this amazing piece of technology presented by Samsung at CES 2012 called the Transparent
Smart Window. For those who still haven't seen it (seriously, why are you alive?), it is a 46-inch 1920 x 1080 digitally augmented 'transparent' window, one which is 'smart' and does amazing things à la Minority Report (right). It is a crystal clear touchscreen with several widgets installed, with the best part being that it is a one-sided pane, meaning no one (and i mean NO ONE) from the other side can check out what you're up to. And if you have guests at your place and you don't them also to see what you're doing, you can just pull down the blinds and poof! Gone with the wind! Check out the videos below for a transparent understanding of the Samsung TSW!

Samsung has introduced something truly amazing and I can’t wait to get my hands on my own smart window but I have a feeling that won’t happen for a long time. Alternatively, the Hopper from DISH is so cool and will be released in the coming months. This new receiver is not only the fastest satellite DVR but also has more memory than any DVR in the industry. I got to play with it a bit since DISH is my employer and I found even the menu is fantastic. I just can’t wait until it is released to the public so I can get one!
Be sure to tell us of your experience with it.
