Well known footballer David Beckham will be making his way to Google's headquarters for an exclusive interview for the company which will be aired on the company's video hub YouTube, and will also heavily involve the company's social media efforts in Google+.
Google is giving Google+ users a lucky chance to fire their questions at David Beckham which the ex-England captain will answer in an interview which will be streamed live on YouTube. To ask Becks your question, just head over to Google+ and post your question as you would normally post anything, and just be sure to include the hash tag #GoogleBeckham. The interview will be streamed live on YouTube on January 19 at 9am PT, over on the YouTube channel, Talks@Google.
Google's recent search update was quick to highlight the importance of having an active Google+ account, which will now heavily influence your search results on Google. Seeing this biased preference for its own network, many activists online have criticized Google on this front and have given the search engine giant a lot of flak for the move. Nonetheless, this hasn't stopped Google from pushing its Google+ network into the spotlight, with the company also giving Google+ users a chance to hang out with Beckham on Google+ Hangouts immediately after the interview, at 10:30am PT.
