Social media kingpin Facebook has been sending out invites for its mysterious low-key event to a select few, with the event scheduled for Wednesday, January 18 - a day prior to Apple's own low-key media event featuring some "education announcements". The event will be held in San Francisco and commence from 5pm local time, with registrations starting half an hour earlier. As Drew Olanoff notes, the event could very well be surrounding the social network's changes on its Open Graph announced last year at f8. As always, we'll bring you the latest as we discover.
