There was much ado about the first product coming out of the Nokia-Microsoft's partnership, with early onlookers claiming the Lumia 800 to be faster than Apple's iPhone. Fast forward to 2012 and the Mango-sporting device is mercilessly beaten by its iOS counterparts.
Nokia's Mango-powered Lumia 800 was pitted against an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3 and an iPhone 4S with iOS 5 in a browser benchmarks test, including Browsermark tests, Speed Reading test, Sunspider, Acid3, and HTML5. While the 4S had a walk in the park, the iPhone 4 had to sweat it out but in the end emerged victorious in most of the tests.
