People thought that there was a new product upcoming and thats the reason the Apple store was closed. But what we understand with our observation is that Apple has stopped allowing users to degrade their Mac while configuring your Mac before your buy it. Now you can only upgrade your Mac during configuration. So if you need a Mac as a lowel level computer it is not available anymore.
