  God, let this die. The whole thing has been blown out of proportion and this Engadget dude is doing nothing more than trying to keep it alive so he can get more hits on his web site.

  Christ, Apple is giving away the bumbers now - how often have you seen that happen from any manufacturer for any reason? What else do they want? A recall? You would have to be an idiot to think that was going to happen - recalls are for things that endanger consumers.

  Maybe a pint of Jobs blood would do...

  Geez, get a life.

  You are spot on Mr. Terrman. Even i don't know what's the fuss now as Apple is giving what everyone demanded - free cases/bumpers.

  Anyway, irrespective of whether this is non-sense or no, i'll have to share such things with the ones who are interested in such things on Firstain.
