Apple confirms: Software update won't solve iPhone 4 antenna issue

So there you have it then: a software update will NOT solve the antenna issue surrounding the iPhone 4.

This was confirmed in last night's iPhone 4 press conference when Apple said that it is a hardware issue and hence cannot be solved by updating a software.

Apple's very own Scott Forstall, who joined Twitter recently, said all other reports which claimed a software update would fix the antenna issue are "patently false".
