Facebook and Privacy: A little more of it . . .

Well, by now we all know about Facebook's new simpler Privacy Settings which were launched a week ago but that's not where Facebook is going to stop. Apparently, the social networking giant is going great guns to educate the masses about their new settings, and also stop more people from 'quitting' Facebook in the wake of 'uncontrollable' Privacy Settings.

Facebook and Privacy

Facebook have launched a separate page to educate users about privacy matters and how they can get the best out of it. This really shows that user privacy is important to Facebook. But with another page for privacy matters (as if we already haven't had enough of it), is Facebook overdoing it?

Getting Updated

Described as “A living resource and a venue to facilitate an interactive discussion about privacy”, Facebook wants it's users to ‘Like’ the new page in order to stay up to date on privacy issues. The message is clear – Facebook wants you to know that it is taking privacy seriously!
