Apple is doing everything it can to tempt you to buy their 'Revolutionary Product' the iPad. So much so, they are guaranteeing you (almost) that you will never lose your iPad for good.
Not only can the iPad help find your lost iPhone, but it can locate 'itself' too via MobileMe.
The good point here is that it will find the cheapest iPad - your WiFi-only iPad - as well, so long as it is connected to a network (though the accuracy may leave you looking for a while). You can also remotely 'wipe' it just like an iPhone if it falls into the wrong hands.
