An inspired performance from Didier Drogba in the 2nd half sealed all 3 points for Chelsea as they regained top spot from Manchester United, who play on Sunday.
Alex put the Blues in front with a towering header but it was all about a former Blues player, Scott Parker, who hammered in a stunning volley to which 3rd choice Goal Keeper Turnbull, who made his first appearance after his move from Middlesborough, could only watch the ball dip into the corner of the net.
But Chelsea started the 2nd half with added motivation and soon regained the lead. First it was Drogba, then Malouda, who played the best game of his Chelsea career probably, and then Drogba again to heap more misery on West Ham.
Alex and Drogba both scored headed goals each
Arsenal on the other hand dramatically sealed victory thanks to Bendtner's injury time goal. This win takes them above Manchester United and joint top with Chelsea although playing a game more than the Red Devils.
