Addicted to FarmVille on facebook? You think that it will be fun to play it on your iPad? Then think again! Because Mr. Steve Jobs doesn't think so!
History repeats itself! Adobe Flash Player is not supported by the iPad. After the iPhone released, Apple promised to include Flash in the next version. So why can't the tablet computer have Flash? The problem with this is that even the cheapest netbooks with now 3 year old hardware runs Flash in the browser. Apple can't promise the best web experience ever if you are missing the most used plugin ever.
No FarmVille, No flash based games, No Hulu, No flash videos, No flash based applications and if research was to be believed more then 70% of web's active content is flash. No access to it on your iPad. Best browsing experience? Ya right!!!
Lee BrimeLow, a platform evangelist for Adobe, commented :
@iPadFriend let me say this as clear as I can: APPLE DOES NOT WANT THE FLASH PLAYER TO PERFORM WELL. They don’t want you to go to Hulu or play Flash games because they worry that you won’t buy their apps. We have been trying to work with Apple since the iPhone came out.
Well, some things never change: batteries run out when you need the gadget the most, this site gets updated and Apple’s mobile devices don’t support flash.
