The New Delhi Auto Expo, which opened to the press a couple of weeks back, saw a galaxy of launches & unveilings. Leading the pack was Maruti with Kizashi, which is slated to hit the roads by the end of this year, and Toyota's much awaited small car for India, Etios, a premium hatchback.

Yeti is one of the most successful models of Skoda Auto, the luxury SUV & will hit the Indian market in 2011. Its indicative price range is Rs 13 lakh in India.

Volkswagen's Polo, a premium hatchback, will feature both petrol & diesel engines, equipped with a 5-speed manual gear-box.

The 7-seater sports utility vehicle from the TATA stable is expected to be launched in later this year. The SUV is equipped with cruise control, 6 air bags, dual air-conditioning & automatic climate control, with a 2.2 liter diesel engine.

Toyota ETIOS: This is Toyota's small car. Destined for markets in India, China & Brazil, The Etios will be first launched in India before end of 2010. The hatchback will be ready for Indian roads by January 2011.

BMW X1: The new BMW X1 will be brought in as a completely knocked down kit & will be produced at BMW's Chennai plant by end of the year.
