Apple v/s Google: The latest twist
Well most of you might have already heard about the differences between Apple & Google. But is it all only talk or are they actually not going to work with each other ever again?
The latest 'rumoured' action taken about to be taken by Apple is that they are planning to remove google search from it’s browser Safari. And guess who would be taking it’s place? Bing!
According to latest rumours, Apple is supposed to be in talks with Microsoft to kick out Google as default search provider and let Bing take on that responsibility. Though Apple won’t mind much if this happens, Google could lose quite a few million users.
So is this the end of Google's dominance? HANG ON!
If Google CEO Eric Schmidt's comments are anything to go by, then all's not yet lost for Google. According to him, Google's relationship with Apple is 'Stable'.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt: "As a former board member, I have a special spot for Apple in my heart. I will tell you that Apple is a very well-run company and they have a lot of very good stuff coming.
“We have a couple of very good partnerships with them and we also compete with them in a couple of areas. My guess is that's a pretty stable situation for a while.
“I’m not going to speculate on any deals or rumors of any kind”.
So what is the real truth behind all this? Only time will tell...
