The Indian Premier league made its new rules of telecasting.
As always the IPL does not take into consideration the effects it will have on the indian markets.
Ipl has announced that it shall telecast ipl live on youtube on the site

It is definitely not good for the Indians who have a mere 500kbps speed which is not good enough for for viewing live telecast on the internet.
So we may conclude that just as the Indian players are bought at a cheaper rate by the franchises similarly all improvement made in the ipl are not for the benefit of the Indians mass population.
But overall it is a good development as it will enable people all around the world to see the star studed indian premier league on their desktops/laptops even when they are in office.
