Usually, the coffee table, side table or whatever other kind of table you choose to use should be placed in the room at the very end. When you do that, make sure it doesn’t block the traffic and that everyone can sit comfortably without having to change their position because of the angle or shape of your table.
Because open area for walking and moving is at a premium in a tighter room, choose rounded tables over sharp-cornered ones. Options include drum tables, oval coffee tables and circular end pieces. Find furniture with hideable storage like ottomans and sofas that offer compartments underneath the cushion. A clutter-free space is more relaxing and doesn’t distract from your room’s style and decorations.
